Students and families are invited to visit Honoredschools.org to share the story of how a great teacher has made a difference in their life.
Based on these "Honor Stories," at the end of the school year teacher(s) from each participating district will receive the Honored Schools Life-Changing Teacher Award, which includes a $2,500 cash prize!
Here's how:
- Visit HonoredSchools.org and tell the story of a teacher who has made a difference in your life or the life of your child.
- Return to HonoredSchools.org and give a shout out to as many teachers as you want.
- Spread the word! Tell others in the school community to recognize great teachers, too.
Each and every Honor Story submitted will be shared with the teacher and published on Honored School's national Honor Roll.
Research by Gallup shows that teachers who are thanked regularly are more effective, inspired, and stay teaching longer. This is a great opportunity to thank our amazing teachers and let them know how much they mean to all of us!
